I have taken Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for four years to treat the symptoms of multiple sclerosis. There is no proof at all that it stops the progression of MS. And like any other MS drug, it helps some people and does absolutely nothing for others. Overall, anecdotal evidence for the drug is very positive insofar as its ability to mitigate symptoms. All the drug trials for LDN are being privately funded. The pharmaceutical manufacturers have no interest in promoting this drug since profits on it are minimal to say the least.
Low Dose Naltrexone does wonders for my energy level and always has. It can take up to four months for the drug to kick in, but the majority of us appear to experience a benefit within the first week. The very best of luck to you!
